E3 schedule of events: Monday

As you're well aware, E3 kicks off later this morning, 9 AM sharp PST, or 12 PM EST depending on your coastal alignment. Kicking off the event is Microsoft, who will be concentrating their efforts for the 'con on their new console, the Xbox One.

During the company's official unveiling of the new system, Microsoft said they would be waiting until E3 to focus on the system's library, and that's exactly what they'll be showing later this morning. The company is expected to show off 20 new titles in all, including the new Forza, Quantum Break, a new "all access" trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts, and go into further details about their partnership with EA Sports, which should lead in nicely to EA's presser later this afternoon, and the next scheduled event for the day.

A banner hanging in the convention hall advertising the system has the official slogan for the Xbox One, "All in one. Input one," so expect more details on what that means as well. Not expected are more details about the console's policies about online connection and used game policies. The company recently decided to cancel its roundtable and post-presentation interviews with the press. The entire presser won't be completely focused on next-gen, as the company is also expected to make an announcement on the Xbox 360, most likely a price cut.

Once Microsoft is set, Electronic Arts comes in at 1 PM, to talk about the Call of Duty competitor, Battlefield 4. With their recently announced exclusivity deal with the Star Wars brand, we should also get a peek at that as well, as well as some other games from developers DICE and BioWare. Also expected are The Sims 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, Dragon Age III: Inquisition, a closer look at the free-to-play version of Command & Conquer, as well as some of the company's celebrated mobile games like Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Ubisoft is next up following EA, set to begin at 3 PM. The company recently announced their line up, consisting of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and Watch Dogs. More reveals from the company are also expected. We have a stream set up so you can watch the whole thing unfold from the comfort of your couch.

Microsoft began things, so Sony will close it out for Monday, beginning their conference at 6 PM. New game reveals are expected, as well as closer looks at some old ones shown during the PS4 unveiling, like Killzone 4: Shadows Fall, inFamous: Second Son, Deep Down, Drive Club, and a new Final Fantasy. Also expected is a look at the console itself, which has yet to see the light of day, and potentially some pricing details.

A slew of developers will also be doing their own streams from the show floor to show off their own new games all the while, like Square Enix, Konami, Bethesda, and more. It should be an exciting time folks, we'll keep you posted on as many of the reveals and news as possible.
