The FBI has announced that it will not file any charges against actor Brad Pitt. The actor was being investigated after an alleged dispute with his family over an incident which took place in September for star's misbehavior with his 15 year-old son Maddox.
Several days after the incident, Pitt's wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. With complete research into the allegations put by Jolie, the FBI has now come up with its decision, of not conducting any further investigations into the case.
The Academy Award winner actor has been accused of maltreating his son Maddox(15). This happened on board while the family was on a private flight from France to Los Angeles. Right a few days after the event, Jolie asked for sole custody of their six children, seeking divorce.
While, social workers investigating over the same matter, cleared Pitt two weeks back. "In response to allegations made following a flight... carrying Mr Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation", reported the FBI.
As per the reports, no charges have been filed in this matter. Pitt, 52, is also seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple's six children, three of whom were adopted by Jolie, right before the couple began dating in 2004. Pitt and Jolie got married just two years back, in a private ceremony at their estate in Provence. At the time, the Oscar-winning actress said her decision to end the marriage "was made for the health of the family."
Brad and Angelina's children include two adopted sons, Maddox from Cambodia and Pax from Vietnam, an adopted daughter from Ethiopia, Zahara, and three biological children, Shiloh Nouvel and twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Meanwhile, Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston survived a laughing fit and was admitted to hospital, after she came to know about the couple getting divorced.
