Stephen Hawking End Of The World News & Update: Renowned Scientist Says Humans Have 1,000 Years Left To Survive. Robots Will Cause The End Of The World.

Astronomer and Theoretical scientist, Stephen Hawking, scientifically predicted that we need to find another planet if humanity plans to survive. The cause of humanity's doom will be climate change, nuclear weapons and artificial intelligence or robots.

Stephen Hawking is an English cosmologist, theoretical physicist, author and Director of Research at the Center for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Cambridge. He is known for his work on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity. This was in collaboration with Roger Penrose.

The Hawking Radiation was named after him due to his scientific studies on the theoretical prediction that a black hole emits radiation. Stephen Hawking was also the first one to formulate a theory of cosmology through the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.

Stephen Hawking has ALS or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. His case was a rare early-onset, slow progressing form. It has paralyzed him over several years. A speech-generating device attached to a muscle in his cheek helps him communicate. His biography was made into a film "A Theory of Everything" with Eddie Redmayne playing him and Felicity Jones his wife.

Stephen Hawking spoke in front of Oxford University Union early this week. According to the Christian Science Monitor, his made a speech stating that humans might not survive climate change, nuclear weapons and robots. He added that we might need to leave earth. If the problem adds up over time it will certainly happen in the next 1,000 years or 10,000 years, if interventions are made.

The theory of Stephen Hawking might not be far-fetched but a disaster on earth would not mean an end to humanity if humans had built colonies in other planets to evade earth's destruction. NASA may have gotten the memo quite early on. They have sped up space explorations looking for life-sustaining planets. Elon Musk, CEO of Space X, already has plans to colonize Mars within the next century.

The Independent wrote that despite the end-of-the-world message that Stephen Hawking spoke during the session, he ended it with a positive note. He said to look up to the stars instead of one's feet and make sense of what one sees. One has to wonder what makes the universe exist. He encourages curiosity despite difficulties and to not give up.
