New reports have emerged suggesting that the Cupertino based company is currently suffering from a decrease of sales following the lack of new designs on its new iPhone 7. On the other hand, the South Korean tech manufacturer is still trying to convince consumers that its handheld devices have the best safety features after the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 controversy.
Obviously, the two companies are going to face tough challenges as they prepare their flagship smartphones to compete against each other next year. Apple is said to have saved all of its newest features for the upcoming iPhone 8 as it will arrive during the 10th anniversary of the popular smartphone line. Samsung will also try to impress consumers and assure them that its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will carry advanced specs and impressive features.
There are speculations suggesting that Apple iPhone 8 will arrive in two variations - the 4.7 inch model and a 5.5 inch variant. According to reports, both variants will be sporting a bezel-less design alongside its latest innovations. There are rumors saying that Apple has already decided to get rid of the home button on its upcoming iPhone as they will now incorporate the feature into the whole display system. There are also reports suggesting that Apple will adapt the OLED display technology from Samsung. If rumors prove to be true, both the new iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 might arrive with the same screen features.
