iMac 2017 Release Date, Specs, Features, News & Updates: Touch Bar Feature Anticipated In Apple’s Next Version of iMac

Now that Apple iMac wasn't able to make an appearance at Apple's October 27 event, many, with high hopes, are still convinced that Apple will bring iMac 2017 to a whole new level. Rumor mills have started to toil with speculations that the new version of iMac will feature Touch Bar Function.

The upgraded iMac 2017 is said to feature the Touch Bar, similar to that on the next-generation MacBook Pro. This multi-touch OLED strip could be a good addition to users' productivity, as its interactive commands can dynamically shift from app to app. However, this change may replace the function keys, similar to that of MacBook Pro. This may bring quite a nuisance to users who are used to pressing them.

According to reports, adding Touch Bar to the iMac 2017 means that there could be a user mouse or trackpad less menu-based tasks. Alongside the previously reported Kaby Lake CPU , Apple's next generation of the all-in-one desktop computer line could also feature AMD's Polaris 10 graphics architecture. AMD consistently boasts that the new line of GPU's will bring VR within reach of a wide array of users.

Furthermore, the new Apple iMac 2017 is believed to feature full Flash Storage. Previous iterations can be recalled to have used a Fusion Drive for its 27-inch models. The 27-inch Apple iMac 2017 will flaunt a 5K display with an Intel 10-core Xeon E7.

With 32 GB of RAM and a 2TB Fusion drive, iMac 2017 is rumored to be slightly costlier than the current-generation 27-inch iMac with similar specs, coming around at $3,199.99. Looking at all these possible developments, one may already conclude that iMac will surely be a bang for the buck.

Details of the iMac 2017 may still be under wraps. But as to whatever the future holds for the iMac 2017, no one is certain at this point yet. For updates, stay tuned here at GamenGuide.
