‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: After Ditto, Niantic Teases Two Massive Features in Next Update? Gen 2, Legendary Birds Now Available?

The latest "Pokemon GO" update has brought with it the elusive Ditto Pocket Monster and a new XP event. Now, fans want to know what Niantic has up its sleeve to surprise them. The upcoming update is expected to be big as it will supposedly bring two massive features to the game.

While Ditto has already been launched in "Pokemon GO," the next update may bring an entire range of second generation Pokemon, reports Express. Moreover, the Legendary Pokemon are also eagerly expected. Niantic CMO Mike Quigley has already hinted that the Niantic team is already planning for the future special event expansion. "We think real world events are going to be part of that strategy, but nothing to share yet. We have been excited about things that have been happening organically without us putting a hand on it," Quigley told MCV UK.

Apparently, the latest "Pokemon GO" update has also launched a special event apart from introducing Ditto and that was Niantic's secret weapon all along. This will again make fans find the low-level Pokemon. Moreover, the update has also provided new ways to take on tough gyms.

The recent "Pokemon GO" update has included expansion in trainer abilities too. As per iTech Post, the improved trainer ability is for feedback purposes regarding the newly added features. Niantic is also doubling Stardust and XP once players complete in-game actions. This feature will remain effective till Nov. 30.

Niantic, in order to maintain game balance, will be altering the CPs of "Pokemon GO" monsters. Some will have their CPs increased and some lowered. Pokemon such as Alakazam, Rhydon and Gengar will have their CPs increased.

A lot is being said about the "Pokemon GO" nearby feature that will show up only when a player is close to a PokeStop. Changes to Sightings have also been implemented. Trainers will soon be able to test this update and then provide feedback. Niantic will be expanding the ability of Trainers to test this update. Depending on the update feedback, it will implement changes if necessary.
