$60 Priced NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale Spurs Impulse Buy

The NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale successfully wooed shoppers who found it hard to resist the lure of the rock bottom price. Blame it on its $60 price tag but buyers are already lining up by early Friday morning in participating outlets, reports Business Insider. With the limited availability, gaming fans trooped to the stores in hordes and as anticipated, the console is now sold out.

Nintendo To Extend NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale?

But gamers who were not able to get the console during the NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale need not be disheartened. Apparently, Nintendo admits that the limited available consoles per outlet was rather shortsighted on their part and has plans to rectify the remaining gamers who were not able to secure their own console.

In a Twitter post, Nintendo announced that they will be extending the NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale until throughout the holiday season. The company promised a 'steady flow' of additional supplies until the new year.

NES Classic Edition $60 Still Going Down?

While the $60 price introduced by the NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale is considered already a steal, some are still hopeful that the rates could still go down even further. Though it might still be possible, it would be probably too much to expect when the $60 price tag offered by the NES Classic Edition Black Friday Sale is way below the $200 plus current MSRP of the console and game bundle.
