Metro: Last Light: Faction Pack DLC teased, details arriving tomorrow
Metro: Last Light has easily been one of the few highlight games of 2013 from Deep Silver and 4A Games. As such, we've all been waiting for new DLC for some time. Thankfully, that information is on the way. The companies went ahead and announced that while the planned Faction Pack DLC for the game will be delayed, more information coming tomorrow.
Deep Silver and 4A Games has announced that the previously planned but delayed Faction Pack DLC is set to get more details tomorrow, July 11. The Faction Pack DLC was originally scheduled for a June release but suffered a slight delay until mid-July. The DLC pack, which is also the first Pack of the all-single-player and newly created Season Pass content, takes place outside of Artyom’s story in Metro: Last Light.
“Another sneak peak for the Faction Pack DLC, the first Pack of the all-single-player and newly created Season Pass content that takes place outside of Artyom's story in Metro: Last Light,” the official Facebook page states. “The Faction Pack was originally scheduled for June but suffered a slight delay until mid-July. Full details tomorrow!”
The official confirmation for the delay of the Faction Pack arrived back in June with the company stating that it was now targeting a mid-July release for the DLC on all platforms. “I know those of you who have bought the Season Pass have been eagerly awaiting the first Pack, and I'm really sorry to have to make you wait longer than expected,” the post stated.
“There were some challenges along the way and we want to make the Faction Pack a solid and unique single-player addition to Metro: Last Light's campaign. I hope you can be patient for a little longer, while we continue to work on making sure it will be worth your while. The other Packs will be released over the 60 days following the release of the Faction Pack.”
The company also promised that as “soon as we have a final release date set in stone, we'll share it with you all. There will also be some more screenshots and details in the time to come.”
