Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend, Nina Dobrev is still yet to answer the questions of the fans if she will be returning to the finale of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. Will the fans see Dobrev before the TV series ends?
In a report from Parent Herald, fans are still wondering if Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will be working together in "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 finale. The report claimed that Dobrev will be returning to the show for sure, but not as Elena Gilbert.
The report further claimed that Dobrev will be joining the season 8 of the series, but she will be playing the role of Katherine Pierce. She will be part of the Mystic Falls story. Katherine's exit in the previous season of the show, was apparently the same with Georgie's exit when he was dragged away to hell.
Fans have apparently seen the resemblance in the character's story, which made them wonder if Dobrev would reprise her role as Katherine. It was also claimed that the executive producer of the show, Julie Plec teased that the happenings in the lives of the two characters are not accidental. The season 8 might feature the return of Dobrev's Katherine.
"Can you earn your way back out of a one-way ticket to Hell," she further stated. In another Dobrev-related report, she reportedly had an awkward interview during the American Music Awards carpet. She was reportedly asked about her outfit and her food these days by Jason Kennedy of E! News.
"What are you eating these days? Are you working out twice a day? We want to know how you pull that look off. How do you get that body?" he asked.
Refinery29 claimed that the actress noted that she lifts weights as part of her diet and exercise routine for her character in the movie she stars in with Vin Diesel called xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Inspite of the awkard question, Dobrev handled the situation by changing the topic and promoting her movie instead.
Until now, fans are still hoping to see a reunion of Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder before "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 ends.
