'Passengers' Release Date, Latest News & Update: New Trailer Released, Early Wake Not an Accident!

"Passengers" is an epic sci-fi drama starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. A new trailer has been released for upcoming movie.

The storyline of the movie is about two people who are space explorers. They were stranded and fortunately became lovers according to Pop Crush. The new trailer of "Passengers" show Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Patt waking up from a cryosleep.

The two characters woke up 90 years earlier than their own generation from a far off planet. However, the space explorers discovered that their early wakeup call is not an accident in "Passengers". Both of them travelled on a massive spaceship but it begins to malfunction.

The trailer of "Passengers" also revealed other characters who will star in the sci-fi flick. It was confirmed in this recent trailer that waking up together earlier than it is supposed to be is not an accident according to USA Today.

It will never be easy being onboard the ship. However, having each other around makes the hard situation easier. Jennifer and Chris were awakened from hibernation for an earlier century. The loneliness of being in the spaceship does not hinder Aurora (Lawrence) and Jim (Patt) to fing a silver lining they both like.

"Passengers" is directed by Morten Tyldum and is written by Jon Spaihts. There are 5,259 passengers that should be transported in the Homestead Colony and the opening of the hibernation pods is not an accident.

The name of the spaceship is Starship Avalon. In the 2007's "Blacklist" the screenplay of "Passengers" has already been featured. Other casts are Michael Sheen, Andy Garcia, Laurence Fishburne, Kimberly Battista, Jamie Soricelli, Aurora Perrineau, Fred Melamed, Shelby Taylor Mollins and Kristin Brock. "Passengers" will be showing in theaters on Dec. 21, 2016.
