The year is almost over but fans continue to wait for official details regarding the release of Samsung's next flagship tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. A lot of speculations about Tab S3's specs, features price and release date have been making the rounds online.
It was in June 2014, when the first generation of Samsung Galaxy Tab S was released and since then the series has been receiving good reviews and a horde of loyal consumers. With its high-end specs and svelte design, it has become one of iPad's contender. It should be high time that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 makes its presence known.
Recent rumors have surfaced that a couple of high-end Samsung tablets arrived in India for testing purposes, accorind to Trusted Reviews. With the fear that the exploding Samsung Note 7 brought upon customers a couple of months back, reports have concluded that this could be one of the safety precautions Samsung Mobile undertook before releasing Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to the general public.
According to reliable sources, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It will also have a 6 GB RAM with 32 or 64 GB storage. A micro SD card slot would also be present that is expandable up to 128 GB. Since Samsung tablet S series is seldom attributed in taking pictures, the Samsung Tab S3 would be carrying a 2MP front camera and a 8 MP back cam. The battery will be on the 4,000mAh power with ultra-fast charging but not the wireless type. A lot of predictions have been going around that Samsung's upcoming flagship tablet would run on Android Nugget. An 8-inch and a 9.7 inch model would be available with Super AMOLED display.
It is also believed that some of the features from Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 would carry over to it successor, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. This would include the SideSync and Quick Connect. It will also have adaptive vivid display which makes reading, playing games and watching movies clearer. A build-in Microsoft Office which can be sync to other Samsung Galaxy devices is also present.
According to SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have the model numbers SM-T820 and SM-T825. A report also predicted that it the Tab S3 will be out around April or May 2017 with a tag price of $399.99 to $479.99. Samsung hasn't released any official statement yet so stay tuned for more updates.
