MacBook Pro 2016 reportedly stays the same in terms of the processor and memory. However, the latest device reportedly features the new Touch Bar replacing the top row of physical keys. On the other hand, the MacBook Pro 2016 also reportedly made a big move with the USB-C type of connection port alone.

Previously, the MacBook Pro 2016 featured several types of connection ports including the USB-A and HDMI to connect with devices like monitors and printers. However, the latest MacBook Pro 2016 features only one type of connection port to be used with the laptop, photo-card readers, external screens and power chargers. The new USB-C ports reportedly require adapters for other types of connectors.

In terms of the keyboard, the newest addition in the MacBook Pro 2016 lineup reportedly replaced the top row of physical keys. Currently, the MacBook Pro 2016 will no longer feature the Escape key. In turn, a virtual touch strip called the Touch Bar is now featured on the device, Deccan Herald reported.

It is said that the new MacBook Pro 2016 are not only thinner and lighter but are also faster. Moreover, the new device also sports 10 hours of battery life. Additionally, software makers are expected to be able to create custom shortcuts with the new $1,500 to $2,800 MacBook Pro 2016.

In other news, the MacBook Pro 2016 reportedly comes with a 15-inch screen and a larger trackpad. However, this is said to give plenty of limitations in terms of repairing and upgrading the new MacBook Pro 2016. Note that the Touch Bar feature is reportedly difficult to replace when damaged, Top Tech News reported.

MacBook Pro 2016 may not be covered under warranty if Apple reportedly finds out physical damage inflicted on it. Apple also retained the 16GB RAM memory and focused on providing more battery life instead. Additionally, the RAM and flash memory are reportedly soldered to the logic board of the device as well reportedly blocking any chances of getting an upgrade. Watch the review here:
