Steam's Autumn Sale, Black Friday and Cyber Monday gave gamers amazing discounts from retailers who joined the nationwide sale. Although some of them have ended the discount frenzy, this doesn't stop others to offer more gaming deals.
According to GameSpot, the MOBA-style action game "Battlerite" would be free to play on Steam starting Dec. 1 - 4. The game can be played for the said duration and it's free to play. This is the usual offer for Steam's free weekend games and this goes with the game's sale for 25 percent off, which brings the price down to $15. It has the same price on Steam's Autumn sale although it ends Nov. 29.
On Steam early access, "Battlerite" remains part of it. The game made its way to the top of Steam's sales chart when it first started in September. Its developer, Stunlock Studios, announced that in its first two months, "Battlerite" has sold more than 400,000 copies, although the game's popularity has diminished as shown in Steam's player stats page.
According to WWG, the $15 cost of "Battlerite" as early access on Steam includes access to current and future champions all for free. If the player wants to use a new champion or take a different strategy, no additional cash should be dished out although there are many aesthetic customization options that can be paid for. All champions acquired stays once the game is purchased.
Since "Battlerite" is the free to play this weekend on Steam, Stunlock Studios unleashed a brand new trailer for the game called "Champions Rising." This gives an idea as to what type of action the game offers.
A team-based multiplayer action video game, "Battlerite" is considered a spiritual successor to Bloodline Champions and was created by the same developers, Stunlock Studios. It is planned that the game will transition to a free-to-play model on its full release.
