‘Tekken 7’ News & Updates: Fated Retribution Release Date, New Theme; Kazuma's New Jewel
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution," is the seventh installment series of the "Tekken" franchise will have its debut early this 2017. Lot of fans is already excited about it. Recently, the King of the Iron Fist Tournament was conducted in San Francisco. The Gamespot had a chance to speak to Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the franchise.
"Being able to use Unreal Engine and to have our work and the graphics appear relatively quick gave us much more time to work and focus on the actual game design elements."-As stated by Katsuhiro Harada.
In addition to the interview, Katsuhiro Harada was also asked in regards to the difference between the "Tekken" franchise and other fighting games. He explained that the models and environment of "Tekken" are mostly 3D while the other titles has only 2D models. With this, the 3D really makes a great impact on the gameplay and makes the game more fun to play.
"Obviously we don't want to change the formula people expect. That said, with all the Tekken games, we always add extra content. One of the big features is the story mode, in addition to the arcade mode. Other modes, for example, consistent of some type of gallery that allows you to catch up on story elements of the past installments, as stated by Katsuhiro Harada as he answers the issue regarding to the home system version.
In the trailer, the challenges for these important characters; Kazuya/Devil, Heihachi, Feng,Nina, Akuma, and Toshimitsu, does not just keep only to themselves but is also for the rest of the world that they are in. The publisher of the game; Bandai Namco made the trailer to notify others those who haven't any gadgets regarding to the latest "Tekken 7", which will surely draw more attention.
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" has no specific launch date yet, but it will surely arrive early in 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC
