'Overkill VR' Latest News & Updates: Game's Brand New Patch Has Been Released Fixing Multiple Bugs

"Overkill VR" was listed as a full release but it seems that the development of the game is not yet finished when it was switched to early access. Starloop Studios, the game's developer, looks like it has more things to fix with the game after its first release on Steam.

According to Hardcore Gamer, there is a brand new patch to be released on the "Overkill VR" this week. This includes different fixes for the game's stability and power, which should give a better gaming experience.

The patch notes include adding an external camera configuration file, which is close to the exe's file of "Overkill VR" and this makes creating mixed reality videos possible. Another is the Oculus Touch, which is now supported wherein the Warmap can be scrolled correctly with the right analog.

In addition to the new patch of "Overkill VR", some East Slums levels have been increased as well as MK23 pistol's fire rate. The patch also fixes the MK23's reflex that was not working and it fixes an odd issue where the player gets stuck after showing a loading screen.

Additionally, the brand new patch of "Overkill VR" fixes a bug, which prevented the main menu from being shown after a player comes back from a mission. Lastly, the patch has improved the first cover on East Slums 5 since it was a little too high.

Apart from the "Overkill" VR fresh patch, Starloop Studios also announced that there will be another update next week. According to the developer, the next patch coming soon will present manual reloading of the weapons making a big difference in the gallery shooter's quality.

"Overkill VR" is a VR shooter based on cover-system mechanics. On the game, the player acts as a leader of the resistance, which is a group of rebels who fight the system ruled by The Faction.
