Avid fans of the "Legend of Zelda" gaming franchise will be happy with the latest news. Recently, Nintendo announced it plans to unveil more details about the "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" during the upcoming 2016 Game Awards.

"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" may be one of the highly anticipated gaming titles for the Wii U and the new Nintendo Switch console. Aside from several clips that teased the game's colorful scenery, its weather system and a quick glimpse of Link's adventures, game developers have remained silent about the said gaming title.

However, Nintendo recently released a message through its Twitter page that teased of an upcoming update for the new "Legend of Zelda" game. The gaming company invited avid fans to tune into the 2016 Game Awards to catch an "exclusive look" at "Breath of the Wild."

Nintendo did not divulge other details about the upcoming Game Awards "Legend of Zelda" teaser. At this point, it is unclear if the gaming company will unveil a new teaser clip or reveal a more extensive gameplay preview for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch gaming title.

Meanwhile, an earlier released "Legend of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild" trailer teased of Link's "Magnesis" ability that can uncover the location of hidden objects. With the capability to filter specific objects, Link's new power will come in handy when exploring various areas of the game's new world.

In other news, Nintendo is aiming to release the said game in June 2017, according to a social media announcement made by gaming reporter Laura Dale, as cited by PC Advisor. Originally rumored for a March release, the same date as the Nintendo Switch's launch, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" would likely hit gaming markets around mid-June 2017.
