‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Biggest Event Rolls Out December! 100 Gen 2 Pokemon, New Eevee Evolutions, Legendary Birds Coming Soon

Several people can notice that the "Pokemon GO" hype has gone down compared to the first week it was launched. Most of the players stopped playing the game because the developer hasn't released their most requested features yet.

But, "Pokemon GO" increased its number of players again; thanks to the Halloween Event and Thanksgiving Event. If Niantic would bring more events like these to "Pokemon GO," it will surely lure back fans that stopped playing.

According to a report from Tech Times, the upcoming Christmas update for "Pokemon GO" is going to be huge. Niantic will also be releasing its improved and accurate Pokemon tracker worldwide this December. The said update is rumored to be the biggest update in "Pokemon GO" history.

"Pokemon GO" made an estimated $600 million income in its first three months, and it also made half a billion downloads worldwide. "Pokemon GO" daily income is expected to increase this upcoming Christmas season because rumors say that Niantic will be giving huge discounts to some of the buyable items in the shop.

Though it is not confirmed, Niantic might add new Pokemon to the official Pokedex list in "Pokemon GO." According to a report from CrunchyRoll, 100 new types of Gen 2 Pokemon is expected to arrive this coming December.

Yes, Ditto was a cool addition to the Pokedex, but it would be amazing to add stronger Pokemon like the legendary birds Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos. New Evolutions might also come along with the Gen 2 update in "Pokemon GO."

According to a SilphRoad post the new evolutions might be Crobat, Politoed, Bellossom, Slowking, Steelix, Blissey, Kingdra, Scizor and Eevee's new evolution the Espeon and Umbreon. This means that players should keep on stocking candies now and wait for the December update. Who knows, the weak Pokemon now might have a very strong evolution in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2.
