'Street Fighter 5’ Mod Adds Sombra in The Game In Exchange of Laura

A mod of the game, "Street Fighter 5", has just added Sombra from "Overwatch" a character that gamers can play in the game. The new character is very similar with Sombra's character with just a few changes. Of course in exchange of Sombra, the mod had to take Laura's place in the game.

All thanks to mod THEJAMK, loyal players of the game can now use Sombra to battle with other playable characters in the game. And fans of Laura shouldn't be sad of the news because reports state she has just been remodeled so its still her just with a different look. From a one sided hair, skinswap and color of clothes, the new Laura really looks like Sombra from "Overwatch"

According to the "Street Fighter 5" mod, "The colors are not exactly the same as the original because I wanted the alternative colors to work. And it is somewhat difficult since the character has degraded colors." Although he is not very proud with his work, in terms of the animation of the clothes, he still hopes that players will enjoy using the new character and playing the game.

Since it is only the physical look that was changed in Laura's character, this means gamers will not be able to use Sombra's moves and abilities in "Overwatch". She will still be using the same movesets as Laura does and not Sombra's EMP or Hack.

This is not the first time a character has been customized by mods in "Street Fighter 5" to look like other popular characters from other game. It can be remembered that just recently, other characters from "Overwatch" has also been featured in the game like Roadhog, Reinhardt, Tracer and Mei. In all those characters, it was only the physical aspect that was changed and not the moves. And with all the "Overwatch" characters visiting "Street Fighter 5", fans are hoping and dreaming that there will soon be a Blizzard VS Capcom in the future too.
