Kanye West News And Updates: ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Halts Production Temporarily Due To Kanye’s Hospitalization

Kanye West's hospitalization prompts a temporary hiatus of  'Keeping Up With The Kardashians', as Kim K deals with her husband's health first.

It's been an eventful year for the clan so far, to the point that their show has ceased production for the meantime as Kanye is still recovering from his mental breakdown. While enough episodes have been filmed already for this season's telecast, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' abruptly stopped filming after Kim's robbery last October 3. There were plans to resume filming of season 12 during the holidays but given the rapper's current state, it looks like the show isn't going to resume production anytime soon.

Kanye was originally scheduled to be released this Monday, but as of now, the rapper hasn't made full recovery yet. There is no release date set for now until the star has shown major progress in his recovery. But it's not just Kanye's hospitalization that's causing the delay, it appears that Kim still remains in bad shape from the robbery last October. A source close to the production adds that that there was really no chance of resuming filming by December.

There were signs of filming having resumed earlier when the Kardashians and a camera crew were spotted at the Forum, Los Angeles stop of the Saint Pablo tour. But right now, Kanye's health is more important for Kim and she appears to be "rethinking everything," as per TMZ.

E! is denying that their reality show flagship series 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' has stopped filming, in fact they confirm that it's currently in the middle of production. "Keeping Up with the Kardashians is currently in production and has not been halted," an E! rep told Deadline.
