"Scream Queens" Season 2 continues its dip in the ratings and many believe it is well on its way to cancellation. Even the big reveal on who the Green Meanie is did little to help it recover in the ratings game. It now appears that the show’s chances of scoring another renewal from FOX is indeed slim.

According to TV Series Finale, it was already surprising that the series was renewed for a second season because of the dismal ratings performance of the first. “Scream Queens” Season 2 was not able to redeem itself because the ratings continued to drop with each episode. The current season’s average ratings is 38.38 percent lower than last season’s. With almost half the average of viewers of Season 1, it appears that it is just a matter of time before FOX decides to pull the plug on the series.

The identity of the Green Meanie was revealed to the viewers in the last episode of “Scream Queens” Season 2. Nurse Hoffel (Kirstie Alley) alone knows about Dr. Cassidy Cascade’s (Taylor Lautner) serial killer persona. But, Zayday (Keke Palmer) is close to discovering it, which is probably why she is speculated to being his next victim.

In next week’s "Scream Queens"” Season 2 episode titled “The Hand”, viewers will get to see if the Green Meanie will be able to eliminate one of the thorns in his side, Zayday. Nurse Hoffel has previously warned him about Zayday finding out his identity which will make him decide that she will be the one he will kill next. But, he also admitted that Zayday scares him a bit which made Nurse Hoffel suggest to him that she will be the brains and he be the muscle in their team-up.

Meanwhile, Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos) continues to display an aggressive personality that only seems to get worse as time goes by. Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) will suggest a risky surgery to him despite his condition in order get positive press for the hospital. Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) will force Dr. Cassidy to undergo a psych test which will bring in surprising results. All of these on the next episode of “Scream Queens” Season 2 airing on December 6, Tuesday, on FOX.
