'Once Upon A Time' Winter Finale Spoilers: Evil Queen Makes Magic Wish to Prevent Defeat; Storybrooke Heroes Successfully Returns to Enchanted Forest
“Once Upon A Time” Season 6 will have its winter finale on Sunday, December 4. The episode will hopefully reveal whether or not the colorful characters of Storybrooke can finally defeat the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla).
According to the official synopsis of the "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 winter finale, the Evil Queen will learn that the good guys of Storybrooke hold in their possession a weapon which could possibly defeat her. In order to stop them from using it, the Evil Queen will steal Aladdin’s (Deniz Akdeniz) magic lamp from Jasmine (Karen David). She then makes a magic wish which can stop whatever the Savior could do to her.
Other spoilers for the “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 episode include Regina (also played by Parrilla) going on a rogue mission. Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) will be confronting a new threat to their baby. Meanwhile, David (Josh Dallas) will work with Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) to keep the Evil Queen as far away as possible. Spoilers also say that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is still missing and David remains unwilling to wake Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin).
The promo photos that have come out for the upcoming “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 winter finale also hint of the possible scenes in the episode. The Storybrooke heroes appearing regal could mean that they have successfully returned to the Enchanted Forest. But, this could just be a dream sequence in the episode. Another possibility is that the circumstances behind their return could have something to do with the Evil Queen’s magic wish to Aladdin’s lamp.
EPs Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis hinted rather cryptically about the “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 winter finale that the Evil Queen, Savior, and a renegade genie will all be facing a dire prophecy. Another hint is that hope will return to Storybrooke in the form of a magical wish. But, the producers also said that this magic will come with a price which can upend the world of all the fairy tale heroes and villains. All of them will be thrown into an adventure that will involve new worlds, old loves and an impending destiny which can no longer be ignored.
The “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 winter finale really seems to be magical, mystical and full of adventure for the Storybrooke characters. It will be aired on December 4, Sunday, on ABC.
