‘Assassin’s Creed 3’ Latest News & Update: Ubisoft’s Final Free Title This December

Ubisoft is wrapping up its 30th anniversary celebration with one more offer of free game this December. "Assassin's Creed 3" is being given away as the developer's next and final free game for December. Surprising as it may seem, it was also notable how fans subtly expected it; being Ubisoft's biggest franchise title yet to date.

Starting December 7, the "Assassin's Creed 3' title will be included on Ubisoft's previous list of free games each month. According to IGN, fans of the game will be able to grab a copy provided, they are an Ubisoft Club member. The Ubisoft free games are available 30 days after they are launched. That means, players still have the chance to grab the Far Cry: Blood Dragon, which came out last month.

"Assassin's Creed 3" took place in the American Revolution wherein, it was deemed the finale of the Desmond line of Assassin's Creed games. Recent titles that arrived on Ubisoft's free games include "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," "Splinter Cell," "Rayman Origins," "The Crew," "Beyond Good and Evil" and "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon."

The "Assassin's Creed" franchise drew massive praises after it proved in time that its storytelling, concept and ideas will not rest on one specific origin. Through the years, fans grew with the series, jumping from one experience to the other without the boring stance of redundant events, challenges and gameplays.

As Kevin VanOrd of Gamespot said "It is not, however, content to rest on the series' laurels. It takes chances with its opening, with its story, and with its characters. It expands the series' gameplay in enjoyable and sensible ways."
