'Death Stranding' Release Date, News, Updates: Hideo Kojima Will Announce New Details During Panel in PSX 2016

"Death Stranding" is one of the most anticipated games that Hideo Kojima will be releasing. The title was first revealed during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). More details will be announced about it since Hideo Kojima will have a panel discussion during PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2016.

Recently, Hideo Kojima started his own game development studio called Kojima Productions, and the first game that they are creating is "Death Stranding." According to the reports of IGN, Hideo will have his own panel during the PSX 2016, and he will also be joined by special guests who were not yet revealed.

Since Hideo Kojima first announced "Death Stranding" in E3 2016, only few details have been revealed. It was reported that the game will feature one of the actors from "The Walking Dead," Norman Reedus. Moreover, the action title will have a solo campaign and an online multiplayer mode as well. There is also a possibility that it will feature a female protagonist.

The schedule for the panel of "Death Stranding" was announced on the PlayStation Blog. It is expected to start at 1 PM PT on Saturday, Dec. 3, and it will also be followed by an autograph-signing session by Hideo Kojima from 2-2:45 PM PT. Moreover, there are two more panels that will commence on the same day, but it is still unannounced. "Horizon Zero Dawn" is also expected to have discussion during the PSX 2016 on Dec. 4.

Aside from the panel discussions of "Death Stranding" and other games, attendees will also be able to try out over 100 titles at PSX 2016. There are playable demos for titles such as "Watch Dogs 2," "Sniper Ghost Warrior 3," "The Last Guardian," and more within the event. PSX 2016 will be held at at the Anaheim Convention Center from Dec. 3-4. The tickets for the event are still being sold at the website of PlayStation.

There is no definite release date yet for "Death Stranding," but the game is expected to launch in 2019. It may also be playable for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms in the future.
