"GTA 6" is easily one of the biggest titles in the video game arena right now, so it comes as no surprise that fans have been clamoring for a sixth installment to the franchise. Several rumors and reports have been explored regarding what could possibly be in store for the upcoming Rockstar sequel, such as a possible female protagonist as well as the entire US map to become travelable in the game.

Having a female protagonist on 'GTA 6'

The juggernaut video game has been one of the most successful franchises out there, but it still suffers from a glaring lack of inclusivity, particularly for females. As such, fans and critics alike have been demanding that "GTA 6" feature a strong female character in the sequel, someone who isn't merely an accessory to the omale protagonist, but can actually be a key player in the game.

VR compatibility

As with many of its contemporaries, virtual reality has been the way to go. As such, it's likely that "GTA 6" will introduce VR compatibility for the sequel. This is further bolstered by the fact that both Sony and Gran Turismo have pledged their commitment to explore this innovative platform. It would be interesting to see intense driving in VR mode.

More cities, more everything

Another significant rumor about "GTA 6" is the introduction of more cities and locations in the sequel. This is further bolstered by rumors that the upcoming Rockstar game will also be introducing new and better professions, such as President of the United States. A more expansive "GTA 6" universe would definitely lead to better missions for players as well as a wide variety of gameplay experiences.
