New Sony exclusive content on the cards for PlayStation brand?

As far as the console market is concerned, Sony had possibly the best start to the year, kicking things off with the announcement of the upcoming next generation PlayStation 4. With the new PS4 out of the bag, Sony followed up with announcing a number of exclusive titles that will be arriving for the platform, but that's not all.

At the recent GameStop Expo, Sony Computer Entertainment America revealed a list of 21 studios that were working on PlayStation-based exclusive content. While only names of Studios were offered, only a handful said what they would be developing, but most are keeping their lips shut.

The list, as per Gematsu, is as follows:

- Activision Blizzard - Diablo III content
- Atlus
- Bethesda Games - The Elder Scrolls Online exclusive PlayStation 4 beta
- Bluepoint Games - 'Bringing a Sony classic to current game systems'
- Bungie - Destiny content
- Capcom - Deep Down
- Disney Interactive
- EA
- Insomniac Games
- Konami
- Level-5
- Nordic Games
- Rockstar Games
- Sanzaru Games
- Sega
- Square Enix
- Sumo Digital
- Take-Two
- Ubisoft - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag content, Watch Dogs content
- Warner Bros. - Batman: Arkham Origins content
- Zindagi Games

Maybe these companies will eventually end up providing exclusive content for their confirmed titles on the new PS4 platform, but our best bet is that some new exclusive titles could be on their way. However we don't know if these developers on the list will only make PS4 exclusive content, or if there are plans for the PS3 as well.

Either way, it's a win-win situation for all PS users.

"We've forged great third-party partnerships with some of the biggest developers to bring exclusive game content to PlayStation gamers which creates the best place to play," said Sean Coleman, Sony Computer Entertainment America's group manager of retail training and advocacy.

Talking about PlayStation 4's tech, Coleman added, "If you compare PlayStation 4 visuals side by side with any other gaming console, PlayStation 4 will look better every time." Coleman also revealed that the console's $60 camera add-on will support navigational voice commands, facial recognition, and body movement tracking.

The PlayStation 4 is currently scheduled to release in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on Nov. 29, 2013, and Nov. 15 in the U.S. and Canada.
