"Devil May Cry" developer Ninja Theory, recently confirmed its new game -- "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice," which was initially scheduled to become available this year. However, this date has been pushed back and delayed.
"Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is a game based on Celtic Mythology. The storyline circulates in the point of view of Senua as she embarks on a journey and cuts through the hellish dark underworld made up of the protagonist's psychotic manifestations of her own reality and mind.
The game "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is expected to have more ninja-class melee gameplay, strong character stories and a unique art vision. This is what the rising game developer, Ninja Theory is known for. The game experience is said to be centered on delivering a deep character in a dark and twisted world with vicious combats. "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" also explores themes of mental health and features a third person feature.
According to the game's developer, "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is a game experience that is not trying to be all things to people. But the experience will truly satisfy a certain gaming itch. Ninja Theory is said to bring the gaming experience to new heights using their three key strengths.
The "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is still in early developments. There are 15 people from Ninja Theory working day and night on "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" as early as September 2015. The game developers said that they started anew and had to retire some of the original ideas of the game.
"Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is originally slated this year. According to reports, the launch was pushed back because Ninja Theory had a current separate project that needed some sorting out. Moreover, the game studio grabbed the opportunity to further enhance the performance capture technology and paired with Epic Games to do so.
The game developer also said that the progress of the "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is not going as rapid as everybody would like. The development team is taking their time to create a high quality and awesome gaming experience
