The Sony FDR-X3000 4K has a separate live view remote that costs an extra $100. Users can view footage on that without the need to remove the camera. While the Xiaomi Yi 4K Action Camera uses a 1,400 mAh battery, the Sony camera uses the 3.6V battery pack. Both the cameras come with a waterproof case for underwater video recording.

The Sony FDR-X3000 4K comes at a cost of $349 including the waterproof case whereas the Xiaomi Yi 4K Action Camera makes users shell out way less as it is price at an attractive $250, writes WIRED. While the Xiaomi camera has a lot to offer at its highly-affordable price, the Sony one is better when it comes to shooting videos on a bumpy terrain as it has the Balanced Optical SteadyShot tech that is very helpful for image stabilization.
