League of Legends News: Counter Logic Gaming Starts New Challenger Team, Will Field Strong Players and Coaches

League of Legends professional side Counter Logic Gaming is pushing for a more aggressive campaign to regain supremacy in the NA region. They have followed suit to Cloud9 and Team Liquid's initiatives and made their very own Challenger Series team.

They start their search by finding a qualified coach to fill the position. According to the posting on their website, the coach will shoulder a plethora of responsibilities and will demand a lot from the qualified coach.

WWG covered the job posting and noted the interaction between CLG coach Tony "Zikzlol" Gray and former CLG coach William "scarra" Li. The two joked about the latter re-joining the team as a coach. While writer Matt Best doubts the possibility of the former Dignitas player returning to coach CLG, it will be interesting to see who will lead the CS team that has gathered quite a number of talented players on their roster.

Another WWG article has revealed the players suiting up for CLG. The team's NA CS team will consist of the following:

CLG's NA CS team are as follows:

Top: Kevin "fallenbandit" Wu

Jungle: Omar "OmarGod" Amin

Mid: Jean-Sebastien "Tuesday" Thery

ADC: Osama "Zag" Alkhalaileh

Support: Hyo-won "Fill" Lee

Jungler OmarGod is excited with the opportunity to play for CLG. In an exclusive interview with WWG, the player plucked from Riot's NA Scourint Grounds explained why he looks forward to playing for CLG: "CLG has a coach with a legendary legacy. They won two splits in a row and placed second at MSI, the most any NA team has ever placed. You can see from their play style, their team is extremely coordinated, and their teamwork is impeccable. Although I got another offer with a higher offer than CLG's, I believe in Tony "Zikz" Gray ability to help us improve and create our own legacy."

Like the rest of the teams competing in professional LoL, they will be provided with their own gaming house to help them focus on their game. They will be given the same kind of support that is given to the CLG team that recently competed in the LCS.
