Dishonored Game of the Year edition arriving in October, and Bethesda gearing up for the next console generation

With the year coming to an end, it's finally time for popular titles' game of the year editions to arrive, so fans can pick up complete bundles of crowd favorites and all their offerings. The latest title to join that bandwagon is none other than Bethesda's massively popular Dishonored.

Bethesda Softworks has announced and confirmed that Dishonored's Game of the Year edition is set to retail in North America and Europe starting next month.

"Experience the definitive Dishonored collection with the Game of the Year Edition. This complete compilation includes Dishonored, winner of over 100 Game of Year awards, as well as all of its additional content - Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker's Arsenal," reads Bethesda's listing.

As per usual, the new Game of the Year bundle will feature all of the additional DLC released thus far, the Dunwall City TrialsThe Knife of DunwallThe Brigmore Witches, and Void Walker's Arsenal, as well as the original Dishonored title. 

The Game of the Year bundle is set to be available for €39.99 / £29.99 / $39.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and €29.99 / £24.99 / $39.99 on PC.

Additionally, it has been revealed that Arkane Studios is all set to take on the next generation of gaming, and hiring for the same, after the successful announcement of the Game of the Year edition for Dishonored. On its official Bethesda blog, the team wrote:

"With Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition ready for release in October, Arkane Studios is ramping up on what comes next - next-gen development. While we can't talk about what's on the horizon, we wanted to let prospective game developers know that they're already building up their team for the next project."

"Two key new positions opened up for Arkane's Austin-based studio, a Lead Tech Programmer and a Tools Programmer. In addition to these new positions, the Austin office is hiring a wide range of additional art and engineering positions."

Considering the success of Dishonored and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, fans can actually look ahead to something special that will fully utilize the horsepower and the hardware that the next generation has to offer.
