Mike tells Ginny that they are shutting him down as she is close to her pitching limit and it can be extremely dangerous for her.
Amelia warns Ginny that one she is going to be at her lowest point and she is going to need someone. Towards the end of "Pitch" Season 1, episode 10 promo, Ginny is seen collapsing on the ground.

Official Synopsis - "Pitch" Season 1, Episode 10
"Ross warns the Padres that Ginny is dangerously close to her pitching limit, but management is reluctant to end her season. Meanwhile, Amelia confronts Will about money that has gone missing from the restaurant fund in the all-new "Don't Say It" fall finale episode of PITCH airing Thursday, Dec. 8," reads the official synopsis.
Also, Ginny will be featured in a video game and the promotional photos show her getting motion-captured. She meets a guy named Noah who is speculated to be her love interest. In the promo for the season finale, Ginny can be seen kissing Noah.
"So we're getting to see Ginny sort of have a love interest. It's exciting. It's obviously gonna cause some conflict [Laughs]... His name is Noah [played by One Tree Hill's Tyler Hilton], and he's a billionaire and the owner of this motion-capture company," Kylie Bunbury, who portrays Ginny, tells TVLine during an interview.
Meanwhile, Mike is planning to waive his no-trade clause and Bunbury says that her character is sad about Mike's decision.
