Holiday season has been always great to everyone since there are numerous retailers that offer great discounts on all items including gaming peripherals. Target Corporation, the second largest discount retailer in the U.S. launched a 15 percent off code cutting game prices down.

According to Destructoid, the 15 percent off code is inadequate for the games listed in full price especially that there were over 50 percent discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, any latest released console game and anything about Nintendo is a great deal enough with this sales offer especially that there were not enough discounted 3DS/Wii U games during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Amazon is price-matching and doesn't require using a coupon, which is perfect for Prime members. Target REDcard Members get an additional five percent off on any purchase. For paid Amazon Prime members, they can skip the 15 percent off code and take advantage on the 20 percent off on new and upcoming releases.

The best thing on this 15 percent off code is that it works on forthcoming games, which means that the titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" on Wii U and "Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King" on 3DS will be having an ultra pre-order discount. According to Siliconera, the coupon doesn't work on console hardware but games.

Some games on Wii U with the 15 percent off code are "Super Mario 3D World" and "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze." For 3DS are "Pokemon Sun," "Pokemon Moon," "Mario Party Star Rush," "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokemon Omega Ruby," "Super Smash Bros," "The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes" and "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D." Additionally, "Final Fantasy XV" on Xbox One and PS4 is also offered on the 15 percent off code as well as "Steep" on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
