2016 is almost over and this only means one thing - new flagship phones will be introduced. One of the most anticipated smartphones to come this 2017 is Apple's very own iPhone. The alleged iPhone 8 is still expected to come September despite Apple's lack of information on the topic. The company has been dedicated to releasing the iPhone every September of the past recent years so it's just safe to expect the new model to be launched at the same month.

Apple iPhone 8 Rumor Roundup

According to the year-long accumulating rumors, the iPhone 8 is expected to come in three variants. Two of which will be your standard iPhone 7 successors while one will be a special iPhone. Take note that next year marks the iPhone's tenth anniversary, making the 2017 iPhone release more special than the previous releases. This could mean that the premium features that have been rumored for the iPhone 8 could solely be dedicated to the special iPhone 8 variant.

Included in the rumored "special features" of the next iPhone is having an OLED curved display and an entirely glass exterior. Rumor has it that the iPhone 8 could boast of an all-glass body, making the fingerprint scanner and the camera tucked inside the display, Mac Rumors reported. With that said, fans could be saying goodbye to the iconic home button the same way they said bye to the headphone jack. Nevertheless, wireless charging might finally make its way to the Apple flagship, GSM Arena reported.

Apple iPhone 8 Release

As mentioned, Apple is still expected to release the iPhone 8 in September. However, there is still room for inaccuracy for this ETA. Not only has Apple been silent about matters involving the iPhone 8's release date, the said model is also a special one. This means that the company can also hold a special release day for this new iPhone.

Considering that the first iPhone wasn't released in September and instead earlier in the year, it's difficult to put in so much trust on the alleged September 2017 iPhone launch. Needless to say, as time pass by more information could be shared about this and hopefully, Apple can provide a clearer image as to when the iPhone 8 would be released.
