‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Latest News & Update: Activating Island Scan in 10 Hours; Access to Totodile, Chikorita, Feraligatr and Cyndaquil Revealed

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" has already been released on Nov 18 and it immediately became a hit, and fans are hoping to know more about the guides and tricks on how to create a powerful character. Not only that, fans are also trying to find a way how they can shorten the activation time of Island scan from 20 hours to 10 hours.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players are required to log in to their account and scan a QR code every two hours when doing Island scan activation. After doing the process for 20 straight hours, players will then be given the opportunity to scan all four islands and discover different types of Pokemon to capture.

The goal of almost all "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players is to activate Island scan because the four featured islands are some of the most popular in the game such as Totodile, Chikorita, Feraligatr and Cyndaquil. Although having to experience Island scan is one of the most exciting features of the game, waiting for 20 long hours to do the process is a bit tedious. Fortunately for fans, industry experts have discovered a shortcut that would allow players to do a full Island scan activation in just 10 hours.

According to reports, for players to get 10 points, they will have to scan over and over again since each Pokemon monster has a corresponding QR code in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." However, some gamers have discovered that some QR codes can be scanned for 20 points. If a player can get that many points in every scan, he only needs 5 QR scans to get 100 total points and activate Island scan.

Nonetheless, according to reports, not all Nintendo 3DS is compatible with the shortcut process. Fans may have to try it to discover by themselves to see if the QR codes works or not. Stay tuned for more news and updates about "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
