The spoilers for this week's chapter of Fairy Tail have finally arrived, and it apparently will reveal the identity of Erza and her true parents. In an intense battle between foes linked by blood, a jaw-dropping revelation could turn out to be the telling blow.
What to expect in Chapter 513: Flower
-The chapter opens with Erza slugging it out with Spriggan 12's most fearsome mage, the Scarlet Despair Irene Berseloin. With Wendy assisting her in the battle, Erza is keeping her ground against Irene, who is obviously one of the most powerful characters ever introduced the Fairy Tail manga series.
-However, Erza was caught off-guard after learning something about her past from Irene herself. At last, the Spriggan 12 mage explains the meaning behind her earlier statement "You are me, and me are you." Irene tells Erza that she is her mother.
-As expected, Erza diminish Iren's claim, saying she was all alone in Rosemary village during his childhood. She also added the only parent she knew was none other than Fairy Tail grand master Makarov.
Irene responds that it's no longer important to her whether or not Erza believes what she says. After all, she thought her daughter died a long time ago and it she has no plan to go back to the past.
-But before she ends Erza's life, Irene wants her to know the past and where she originally came from. She revealed that once she was the Queen of the Dragons.
"Wouldn't it be inconvenient to die without even knowing where you came from. Let's talk about the past a bit."
-Chapter 513 ends with a statement: Erza's secret crosses time and space!
Reaction and Prediction
Now, this is shocking. I know Hiro Mashima has been dropping big revelations the past few chapters, but this one is huge. The intriguing part here is not about Irene claiming as Erza's mother.
We knew there's a connection between Erza and Irene from the start. However, to know that Erza is an offspring of being previously hailed as the Mother of the Dragons is beyond comprehension.
