With the New England Patriots’ 26-10 win against the struggling Los Angeles Rams, Tom Brady became the winningest quarterback in NFL history, notching the 201st win of his career.
On Sunday versus the Los Angeles Rams, Tom Brady connected on 33 of 46 passes for 269 total yards with one touchdown. Brady got the record at age 39, playing in his 17th season. Brady tied Peyton Manning’s mark last week in a win over the New York Jets.
“You know, I’m just grateful for all my teammates and my coaches, and my family and friends. It’s been a lot of football over the years, so… it’s always been about winning and you know, I’ve been very fortunate to be on great teams. I’m actually very grateful,” Tom Brady said following the game.
The win brought the New England Patriots to 10-2 for the season. The Pats have won all but one of their last eight games. As noted by a CSN Philly report, their last four games of the season will be a challenging stretch, with three of their opponents possessing winning records.
The New England Patriots carried a 17-0 halftime lead on the back of Tom Brady’s touchdown pass to Chris Logan in the opening quarter, along with a long touchdown run by LaGarette Blount. They built on that lead with three field goals from Stephen Gotkowski in the second half. In total, the Patriots outgained the Los Angeles Rams, 402-162. As noted by the LA Times, 66 of the Rams’ yardage came on a single play. The struggling team converted on just one of 12 third down attempts.
