'Amazon Prime' Latest News & Update: HBO & Cinemax Can Be Added To The Membership, Everything That We Need To Know!
"Amazon Prime" is adding HBO and Cinemax to the streaming service. The members can already enjoy shows from these two networks.
In a report from Thrillist, those programs from HBO and Cinemax can already be available on "Amazon Prime." The members of the streaming service can subscribe to HBO for only $14.99 while Cinemax is at $9.99.
Executive Vice President, Worldwide Digital Distribution and Home Entertainment for HBO, Sofia Chang shares that this has been a great move for the network. She added that all the shows from HBO will already be enjoyed by the "Amazon Prime" members.
According to a report in Winter is Coming, before HBO and Cinemax can be experienced through "Amazon Prime," one has to get a membership subscription. The "Amazon Prime" membership costs $100 to $132. This price depends on the mode of payment a member chooses.
After getting the membership the added cost for both HBO and Cinemax will be added-on to the bill each month on "Amazon Prime." However, all shows from the past and the present from these networks are going to be available in the streaming service.
Meanwhile, NOLA reports that this move from "Amazon Prime" is convenient for members to bundle up the bill. It is already indicated that the rate for HBO as a separate service is the same rate when it is purchased through Amazon Prime membership.
It is also known lately that most shows are streamed online. "Amazon Prime" has its own shows that members are already streaming. In getting the HBO and Cinemax channels, there will be more shows added and these shows can be conveniently binged over the internet through the streaming service.
"Amazon Prime" already has its latest shows and rather popular ones. The Man in the High Castle Season 2 is about to be streamed on "Amazon Prime."
There are more shows and members can actually opt to add HBO and Cinemax to their already existing "Amazon Prime" membership.
