WWE News: Jeff Hardy hints WWE return not going to happen next year

Jeff Hardy is one of the most charismatic and fearless wrestlers of his generation. He's always frequently asked about returning to the WWE and he is very open about it. However, he hinted that it will not happen next year since he is enjoying his time in TNA Wrestling.

In a recent piece in Sports Illustrated, Jeff revealed that he would love to come back with the WWE one day. His TNA deal is about to expire on February next year but he is looking to sign a new deal because he is very happy about the direction of his character.

"People always ask Matt and I if we'll ever go back to WWE, but we are having such a good time with this creative liberty in TNA. We're able to do what we want to do. The show is built around us, and that's something that makes me really proud," Jeff said.

The 39-year-old superstar added that he thought about returning to the WWE last year. He mentioned that he always wanted to wrestle The Undertaker in a Hell in Cell Match. He continued to praise The Deadman and he called him the locker room leader.

It should be noted that the Jeff and The Undertaker have already faced each other in a Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE championship in 2002. The Phenom won the match but Jeff earned a lot of respect for it.

Even though he had to conquer several demons, The Charismatic Enigma was able to climb the WWE Mountain. He won the company's top prize three times in his career before leaving the WWE in 2009 due to injuries.

Jeff has been working in TNA Wrestling ever since because they have a much better schedule. It has been an up and down time for Jeff in TNA but he found the groove this year with his brother.

The Broken Hardys are considered by many as one of the best gimmicks of the year, per Lazy Gamer. TNA was able to survive all the hardships this year and they stay afloat because of Broken Matt Hardy and Broken Brother Nero.
