Draymond Green was called for a Flagrant Foul, Penalty 1 in the 132-127 double overtime loss to the Houston Rockets. However, he blasted NBA officials for telling him how his body should react to certain situations.
Late in the game against the Rockets, Green and Harden were involved in an on-air collision that resulted in a Flagrant Foul, Penalty 1. The 26-year-old was assessed with the foul because of his "unnatural leg extension."
During the Warriors shootaround on Saturday, Green laughed and blasted the NBA officials for telling how his body should react. In the play against the Rockets, he was able to kick Harden's face after collided in the air.
"I didn't know the people in the league office were that smart when it came to your body movement. I'm not sure if they took kinesiology and all this stuff for their positions to kind of tell you how your body is going to react when you get hit at certain positions," Green told Connor Letourneau of SFGate.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has told the media that Green uses the leg extension to draw fouls. However, it should be noted that Green have previously kicked several players in the playoffs last season like Andre Roberson and Steven Adams.
Green's kick to LeBron James proved costly as he was suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. It helped the Cleveland Cavaliers get the momentum as Golden State blew a 3-1 lead and lose the championship in heartbreaking fashion.
A day after kicking Harden's face, Green had another unnatural act when he accidentally kicked Phoenix Suns rookie Marquese Chriss. According to Uproxx.com, Chriss ended up getting kicked in the ass and hand when he fouled Green during a play.
Green was not called for a Flagrant Foul for this one but he better be careful. The NBA is obviously looking at him every time he gets fouled and flails his legs.
