Despite Rockstar’s newest open-world thriller Grand Theft Auto 5 just arriving, we still can't help but be curious about the franchise's future.

However, it seems like we may not have to ponder that much, as Rockstar has recently revealed that it has a boatload of ideas, as far as new Grand Theft Auto titles are concerned. Perhaps the company even has plans for Grand Theft Auto 6?

Recently, in an interview with Develop Online, Rockstar president Leslie Benzies confirmed that while there are indeed plenty of ideas for the next GTAs, the company is only focusing on Grand Theft Online currently.

“We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don’t know what GTA VI will be, but we’ve got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain’t no rest between finishing V and then Online. Plus we have some other things – stuff, DLC, I don’t know how to describe it exactly – that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones,” said Benzies.

While the idea of a new Grand Theft Auto title with newly implemented in-game features is nothing less than a mouth-watering prospect, it seems like we might have to wait a while before Rockstar reveals anything on that officially. However, our best guess here is that since the company has already acknowledged that it has pre-planned the future, the next GTA will be arrive sooner rather than later.

Additionally, it has also been reported that Rockstar has now announced a new update for GTA Online on PlayStation 3. Currently, the update, said to download automatically when GTA 5 loads, is only available to PlayStation 3 owners. However, an Xbox 360 version of the update is also expected soon.

Since the free download for the multiplayer mode of the game was released on Tuesday, a vast majority of gamers have found it nearly impossible to access the new content, something the update aims to fix.
