‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Negan Continues Reign Of Terror [CONFIRMED]; Who’ll Die Next?

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 is expected to continue the intensity of the current season, as reports suggest that Negan will still be shown in the next season. This was recently confirmed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played the role of the most feared villain in the series.

In a recent interview, Morgan revealed that Negan's reign of terror in "The Walking Dead" Season 8 will continue, hinting that the character will make it through the season 7 after they wrap up filming for the current season last week. The actor also teased the last two episodes of the TV series prior to reaching the mid-season break. According to Morgan, the viewers of "The Walking Dead" Season 8 are going to see a lot of action, including Negan in the coming episodes.

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 titled "Sing Me a Song" follows the story of two main characters, Negan and Carl. Meantime, previous episodes featured Carl while he was on his way to the home of the Saviors -The Sanctuary. Although the fans have reportedly been waiting for a confrontation, there is still no confirmation about the likelihood. Nevertheless, the fans could look forward to a more in-depth view of the world of the Saviors, according to report.

Meanwhile, the fans are expecting to witness some unforgettable moments exchanged between Carl and Negan at the Sanctuary, given the contents of Robert Kirkman's comics. Considering the finale of Episode 7 of "The Walking Dead," it appears that the relationship between the villain and the child of the apocalypse will be realized on TV.

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 synopsis supports Morgan's remarks that the next season is going to be big. However, the heavy presence of Negan is believed to indicate that he will be around for a long time. That said, the fans may want to prepare for another character's likely death. Meantime, "The Walking Dead" airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC, Comic Book reported.
