"This Is Us" Season 1, Episode 10 - What happens in "Last Christmas"?
Randall found out the secret about William and Rebecca in the last episode of "This Is Us." Towards the end of the episode, Rebecca is relieved but he still tells her that all is not forgotten.
"This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman talked to Entertainment Weekly about the way forward for her in the Christmas episode.
"It feels like it's something that's going to spread out a little longer than maybe we had intended, because it feels very false to resolve them over an episode or two. It feels like a movie or a TV show, and I think this is the kind of thing that estranges a family for a moment, and then hopefully at least in our show, it's something they can come back from. I think Randall is a good enough man and Rebecca is a good enough mother that they can, but I don't think in real life things like this get apologized for and forgiven," Fogelman said.
He added that the last week's episode was the first step between them and the future episodes will see the next steps.
He also teased that in the future, they can either have some moments of forgiveness or break them. But, they will spread this one out for a while.
"This Is Us" Season 1, Episode 10 airs Tuesday, Dec. 6 on NBC.
