PS4 Experience Release Date, News & Update: 1 Mobile Game, 1 PS4 Sequel To Come; 'Knack' Sony Success Ignites Sequel

PS4 Experience recently revealed that a mobile game was slated to come to the console. Apart from the purchasable game, a sequel for a PS4 game was also said to come to the gaming platform.

Square Enix mobile puzzle game "Lara Croft Go" has reportedly been revealed on the PS4 as well as the PS Vita.The revelation was reportedly revealed at the most recent PS4 experience. Note that the turn-based mobile game first debuted on the iOS and Android platforms in 2015.

"Lara Croft Go" has also been noted for a clean and simple art style with thought-provoking puzzles. Currently, the PS4 version of the Tomb Raider mobile game may be purchased online for $9.99. Moreover, the game is also said to feature an all-new expansion.

It is said that the PS4 version of the game will have the "Mirror of Spirits" expansion. Note that the expansion was developed by an indie studio called Ko_op. Previously, a mobile game was also translated on the PS4 console, Polygon reported.

It should be noted that a mobile puzzle game called "Hitman GO" was also added to the PS4 console. Interestingly, the mobile game was also developed by the Montreal-based mobile Studio Square Enix. Similar to "Lara Croft Go", "Hitman GO" was also noted as a commercial success on the iOS and Android platforms launched in February. PlayStation ecosystem in February after both critical and commercial success on iOS and Android.

On Thursday, PlayStation trophy database Exophase has a full list of achievements for the title, with a total of 18 trophies in all. It all but confirmed the game was headed to PlayStation. In addition, "Lara Croft Go" will come to Steam tomorrow, though "Mirror of Spirits" will remain a PlayStation Network exclusive for three months. The game is $9.99 on every platform.

In other news, the original "Knack" for Sony reportedly raked in a strong enough sales. Apparently, the Mark Cerny game was successful enough on the PS4 to make a sequel. On that note, the recent PlayStation Experience held in Anaheim, California reportedly became the platform to reveal the trailer of "Knack 2", Digital Trends reported.

PS4 game "Knack 2" has also been confirmed to add a co-op multiplayer. Previously, the original game was noted for its ability to show off the PS4 gameplay as the game itself featured several moving objects at once.
