One of the best features in Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" is being able to access different weapons throughout the journey. However, with so many options and very limited game time, which ones are worth the players' time? Here's the lowdown of everything you need to know about swords found in "Final Fantasy XV": its stats, advantages, possible modifications, among others.
Broadsword
The Broadsword may be one of the most basic swords that can be obtained in "Final Fantasy XV," but don't be fooled: it can deal enemies +42 damage. It also has a max MP of +6, and can be obtained by shopping at the Hammerhead.
Rune Saber
The Rune Saber is another basic sword found in "Final Fantasy XV," although it has a pretty decent stat record across the board. It has + 103 attack, with additional add-ons like +48 max HP, +8 max MP, with vitality, magic and spirit stats of +8, +12 and +9, respectively. Players can get the blade after completing the Stroll for Two-side's mini quest in Lastallum.
Ultima Blade, Balmung
Among the swords in "Final Fantasy XV," however, two swords stand out: the Ultima Blade and the Balmung. The Ultima Blade has an attack stat of a whopping +364, and has max MP of +40 and magic at +30. The Balmung, on the other hand, has an impressive +446 attack stats, with a max MP of +11.
Greatswords: Hyperion, Iron Duke, Dominator and Apocalypse
Greatswords in "Final Fantasy XV," meanwhile, are known for their massive attack stats and damage dealt to enemies, and are incredibly useful weapons to have. Of these, the Apocalypse is the most devastating sword among them all, as it deals +597 in attack and max HP of +403. The next three contenders for best greatswords, meanwhile, are Hyperion (+496 attack, max HP +310), Iron Duke (+581 attack, +153 max HP), and Dominator (+583 attack, Dark Resistance +32% and max HP +298).
