'The Seven Deadly Sins’ News and Update: Creator Hospitalized; Manga On Hiatus Until Next Year

According to reports, the creator, Nakaba Suzuki, has been hospitalized so it has been decided that "The Seven Deadly Sins" manga will be put on halt until January 18 next year. The manga is supposed to be included in the first issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017 but has now been moved to the seventh issue. For the meantime, the magazine will run its side stories starting this Wednesday.

News claims that Suzuki has to be hospitalized for a surgery. However, the reason for the medical procedure has not been disclosed. The only information given is that "The Seven Deadly Sins" creator will be back for work early January and continue with the manga by January 18. The magazine's editorial team also confirms that Suzuki's health is okay and his condition is nothing serious so fans shouldn't be worried too much.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" first launched in the Weekly Shonen Magazine back in 2012 while Kodansha is scheduled to publish its compiled book volume number 24 in December 16. Kodansha Comics is the first publication to publish the manga in English while Crunchyroll shares its online copy as they are released in Japan.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" manga is about a group of warriors were wrongfully accused of a crime they did not do and have been exiled from the kingdom. Fortunately, the princess of the Kingdom have learned the truth and does everything she can to bring back the warriors but it looks like she is too late. Her father, the King, has been assassinated and she has lost her claim for the throne. Now the princess is hoping that she can find the warriors to help her get back her Kingdom.

The first side story "The Seven Deadly Sins" will focus on Griamore's adventures. It has not been announced yet who the next side story will focus on and when will it be released.
