'Spacelords' Now Live; New Launch Trailer Revealed By Developer

Sci-fi fans and wannabe space explorers have a lot to be riled up about today. "Space Overlords" launched recently for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and players are pretty ready to divide and conquer galaxies. 12 Hit Combo! and Excalibur Publishing recently launched a trailer commemorating the event while teasing fans along the way.

The trailer for "Space Overlords", seen here at PlayStation's official YouTube channel, readies players for what's up ahead the title. The trailer showcased what the game looks like running on the two PlayStation devices and it gives players a glimpse of gameplay as well. Needless to say, the game is a very promising indie title.

In "Space Overlords", players can create their own planets. Moreover, players can destroy planets as well; hence the name Overlord. It's a pretty decent title that requires quick thinking and strategic plans as players will go up against entire cities and planetary defences.

Players can play "Space Overlords" on their own but the game shines most when being played with others. The game's multiplayer mode can be played with up to four players in PVP multiplayer. The multiplayer mode is accessible both online and offline so players can have fun even without an internet connection.

In the game, there are six enemy types that get progressively difficult to defeat while going through the game's 56 story mode levels. "Space Overlords" also gives players access to four diverse playable characters, each giving their own unique gameplay style. As for multiplayer, players have access to 4 different game modes.

"Space Overlords" is now live for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and can be purchasable through the PlayStation Store. The game sells for $7.99 and it's worth having. Those who don't have a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita can still play the game on the PC.
