"Resident Evil 7" Beginning Hour demo received an update titled "Midnight", and was launched on P'S4 over the weekend. Capcom has also confirmed that the game will launch as well on Xbox One and the PC this month.
The new update on "Resident Evil 7" is set to launch on Xbox One on Dec. 9. However, the PC players will be allowed to try out the game starting on Dec. 19, as announced by Capcom through its blog. According to the game developer, the "Resident Evil 7" update will bring a multitude of PC-specific settings, including graphics options on the PC.
The "Resident Evil 7" Midnight update also the latest tweak for the Beginning Hour demo, given that Capcom already released an update on Twilight early this year. The said Midnight update on "Resident Evil 7" is expected to go even further to allow the players to explore beyond the mold-covered door wherein terrifying noises come from.
"Resident Evil 7" PS4 version of the Beginning Hour demo includes an optional PlayStation VR mode. On the other hand, PS4 Pro players with supported TV can also experience the game in 4K.
"Resident Evil 7" is set to launch on Jan. 24, 2017 on all platforms, according to report. Meantime, the "Resident Evil 7" VR demo is said to be very similar to the original demo and it plays perfectly. However, game reviews suggest that it lacked the scary or fear factor.
This may likely be due to the effect of playing Dreadhalls and Affected: The Manor, which makes everything seems very tame after. With that, the gamers are hoping that the finish product will increase the terror.
"Resident Evil 7" VR had no issues as well, and while the house is not the largest, the only reported concern is the repetition.
