The Spring Inter-High volleyball season is kicking off in the upcoming chapter 233 of "Haikyuu!!" It will start with a match between Karasuno and Tsubakihara high schools.
Tension could mount in "Haikyuu!!" chapter 233, as the Karasuno coach Keishin Ukai fears. The national games are going to be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. It will be the first time for the team to play at that venue, a bigger area than the one it is used to.
Fans believe that Tsubakihara, also making it to the nationals for the first time, will be just as nervous about the same thing in "Haikyuu!! chapter 233. The captain, Echigo, is seen calling out to his team to scream off their apparent jitters. But little is known about this opposing team from the Kanagawa Prefecture, and it is expected more will be revealed about them in the new chapter. So far, team members' names are known besides Echigo: Maruyama, Teradomari, Maiko, Iwamaro, Atema, and Kaikake.
It is thought by some though that Karasuno may just have met their match in the Tsubakihara team. Even the team members from the latter team seem to remind Karasuno of their own members. There's that smart-mouthed Tsubakihara player who appears to be another Kei Tsukishima, the Karasuno middle blocker. A bald player seems to be a shyer Ryunosuke Tanaka, the wing spiker.
Fans can also look forward to how Hitoka Yachi will handle the team in the absence of the team manager, Kyoko Shimizu. Shimizu had to step out to find Hinata's bag which is missing. Will Yachi measure up to expectation in "Haikyuu!!" chapter 233? She has been groomed for this role, and this may be the opportunity to show whether she will be a capable manager for the "fallen crows."
Despite the newness of the court and surroundings, Karasuno may still do well. Kageyama "King of the Court" may look cool and collected, but then he will miss a toss. But as Tsubakihara scores three, tensions are at the highest. Talk has it that Kageyama may be benched in "Haikyuu!!" 234, but Tsukishima will burst the bubble and drive Kageyama and Shoyo Hinata to work together.
Chapters 233 and 234 of "Haikyuu!!" are expected sometime this month. No definite date though has been announced. The anime series, however, will air its episode 10 for season 3 on Dec. 9.
