Gone were the days when text messaging is a norm; now, most of us live through a more user-friendly, more flexible, and more popular WhatsApp. The best thing about it is that the app's offered for free, making it more widely available to every smartphone users. To fully enjoy the use of this app, tips and tricks were developed.

Ignore Messages Without Notifying the Sender

Double blue ticks mean that you have read the message and since there'll be times when all we want is just read and not reply, a trick was formulated according to PC Advisor. To do this, you need to go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Read Receipts.

Ditch the "Last Seen Time"

The effect of seeing the last time you've seen the message is almost the same as reading it. With this trick, social snubbing and awkward conversation are avoided. To turn the "Last Seen Time' off, just go to Settings> Account> Privacy> Last Seen.

Restore Deleted Messages

There are times that no matter how badly we want to keep a message, it can be accidentally deleted. Fortunately, there's a way to bring all the messages back from where it should be. To do this, just reinstall the app and let it do its magic, according to TechRulz.

Send Message Through Voice

With the help of Siri, you can send messages through voice, hands-free. To do this, make sure that you have an updated version of WhatsApp and let your vocal commands come out: "Siri, Siri, please send a WhatsApp message to Pops."

Add Emotions to Your Messages By Adding Italics and Bold

Enhance the tone of your messages through the help of adding italics, bold, and strikethrough. This may be a bit complicated but it's worth trying in your next WhatsApp messages. To bold a word, put an asterisk on both sides of the *word*; for italics, use an underscore on the sides of the _word_; and to incorporate strikethrough, use those squiggly hyphens in the ~word~.
