The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the first 2017 flagship phones to be released. The Samsung Galaxy S series usually get released on a February or March so it's pretty much every year's standard-setter. Right now, there are a couple of new things that have been rumored about the Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 New Display Specs

As per recent news, the next Samsung Galaxy S8 phone will be using a new display panel (RGB Super AMOLED) which means that the phone will offer a super vivid display. GSM Arena says that this could mean that the subpixels could increase to 50 percent more. The Samsung Galaxy S and Note phones this year already boasted of their crisp and bright display.

Nevertheless, it looks like Samsung is ready to up its game even more for next year, and it's probably to target VR users. Crisper display means better picture quality in VR, so this should be good news to every VR lover out there. This could also be a forecast of the higher rise in VR technologies next year. What else should fans expect in Samsung Galaxy S8?

This rumor has both been associated to Apple's iPhone 8 and to the Samsung Galaxy S8. In fact, this has also been associated with a few more 2017 flagships. This could mean that smartphone companies are pretty much headed to the same direction, and for next year, they are headed towards a full-display technology.

As per recent rumors, it was said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will ditch its home button and stuff its fingerprint sensor under the display. This has also been said about the iPhone, the supposed Surface Phone and a few more phones. With that said, it looks like people are about to lose the iconic home buttons they have all been used to, no matter what phone they choose.
