Players of "The Sims 4" are currently enjoying their time with "City Living" expansion, but there are now murmurs that the game will once again receive fresh content. According to latest rumors, a new update featuring vampires and a new game pack will be released soon.

Electronic Arts recently rolled out a new "The Sims 4" game patch at the start of the month and it reportedly came with game files that suggest the existence of vampires within the game. As detailed in a report found in Sims Community, vampire-related icons have been spotted as well as game codes that indicate that they could be part of the next game update.

Game codes such as "death by sunlight" was the latest tidbit of information about the upcoming "The Sims 4" update that was shared. This could mean that the rumored vampire would die if exposed to the sun - a usual thing for these supernatural beings. However, another game file suggests that the vampires can safely walk during a bright day via a "perk."

Also spotted was a tuning for the "Gravestone" object, which likely means that vampires in the rumored update will have their own gravestones. In addition, there was also a reference to a stuffed bat. The Sims Community also shared that vampire poses have been spotted in "The Sims 4" game files. In addition, it was also mentioned that the vampires could have "alternative forms" and that they also have a unique talent.

All the game files spotted are believed to be part of the new "The Sims 4" Game Pack 4. Electronic Arts has added a placeholder box art for this new update, which data miners took as a hint that the release is imminent. However, there is still no official word from The Sims team and fans can take the information with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, check back here on GamenGuide for more updates.
